July had the biggest day in Amazon’s history - 2016 Prime Day. Exploding Kittens was the most successful Amazon marketplace seller to ride the wave. But it also boosted sales for many other sellers.

It seems like every month there is at least one new and fast rising retailer in the health & beauty category. This time it is Viva Naturals who have more than doubled their sales. They sell nutrition and supplements products.

When analyzing this list we noticed Tall Ridge. They are the only authorized seller of Hydro Flask products. And since Hydro Flask is a very strong brand this is the only products line Tall Ridge carries. Classic example of retailers gaining exclusive rights to sell high-in-demand products.

Down the list you will also find AnkerDirect, one of the TOP 10 Amazon sellers. Surprisingly they were able to grow over 30% in July, which is rare for a seller of their size. We are guessing Prime Day was a big factor for this.

Jinate’s Shop received 2565 ratings in a month, a 1192% increase from last month - enough to make them the fastest growing seller in July. Yet 93% of the reviews were negative. This Honk Kong based seller has since stopped selling and no longer has any products listed, but this should remind buyers to always pay attention to the seller rating.

Amazon reported that 49% of all sales were handled by marketplace sellers in 2016 Q2. Every quarter marketplace sellers continue to grow more important, and for the first time in Amazon’s history we expect them to sell more products than Amazon itself by the end of the year.

We used feedback growth as a method to estimate how much a seller has been able to grow their sales. Feedback growth is calculated by comparing feedback ratings amount on July 1st and July 31st. The table below is top 100 sellers ranked by the growth rate.
