October had one of the most celebrated holidays of the year - Halloween. As the days got closer to October 31st, sales for costumes and other party merchandize skyrocketed.
We used feedback as a way to estimate how much sales has the seller been able to gain. But instead of looking at what everyones’ feedback was at the end of the month, we calculated the change in feedback throughout October. The table below is top 100 sellers ranked by the growth rate.
As you can see, most of the sellers who have been able to take advantage of the Halloween increased their sales drastically. 13 businesses were able to increase their sales by more than 100%, with the Halloween focused costumes sellers increasing them by as much as 632%.
Even big sellers like Great Price Fast Service were able to more than double their sales.
Yet we also noticed that sellers like apex_media were not able to capitalize on Halloween and saw a 50% decrease in sales.
